29 April 2026 · 45 min working call

Elite Movers.
55 today. 70+ in 90 days.
Storage is the unlock.

Here is what we have built, what is live right now on the new site, and the three decisions I need from you on this call. Scroll at your own pace. The agenda bar stays with you.

Section 2 · where we are today

Elite is scoring 55/100 for AI visibility. Citations strong. Schema lags.

Phase 1 audit (6 Apr) scored elitemoversca.com against 60 live AI queries across ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. You came back fair, with a clear three-fix path to 70+.

EM
Elite Movers & Packing Services
Ventura, CA · Local, long-distance, packing, storage, residential, commercial
55/100
AI Visibility Score · fair tier · 3 fixes to 70+
11/20
ChatGPT
13/20
Perplexity
6/20
Google AIO
7/25
Schema

ChatGPT and Perplexity already cite Elite at a healthy clip (24/40 combined). Schema 7/25 is the weakest single lever. Three specific fixes (Service + Review + FAQ schema, eco-positioning counter, storage-first messaging) should move you to 70+/100 inside 90 days.

Section 3 · GMB recovery + site rebuild

The Feb GMB rank drop is the elephant.
Here is the recovery plan.

Your primary Ventura GMB lost positions in February. Not catastrophic, but visible. The recovery is mechanical: NAP cleanup, citation drift fix, fresh storage-anchored posts, and the schema rebuild that lands with the new site. Concurrent with the rebuild on Astro + Cloudflare for the website itself.

Lever Current state After fix Timeline
NAP consistency Phone format drift (18056976220 vs 8056976220) across citations Single canonical format pushed to top 30 citation sources 2 weeks
Address citation Old address still surfacing in some directories Audit + fix sweep, fresh from current GMB address 2 weeks
GBP post cadence Sparse, no recent storage anchor Weekly: 1 storage offer, 1 Q&A, 1 review highlight Live this week
Schema 7/25, no Service, no Review, no FAQ Full MovingCompany + Service + Review + FAQ JSON-LD Lands with new site
Site rebuild WordPress on legacy stack Astro + Cloudflare, near-1s mobile, clean schema 2 weeks

Branding mismatch surfaced: Rudy mentioned wanting to lead with "Elite Movers & Storage" not "Elite Movers & Packing Services". Confirm direction on this call. Whichever you pick gets locked into the rebuild + schema + GMB at the same time.

Section 4 · where AI is already citing Elite

You are in the conversation.
Storage is the gap to close.

Phase 1 audit ran 60 live queries. Elite was cited in 30 of them. Here is the shape of the wins, and the obvious gap.

ChatGPT · Elite
"piano movers Ventura CA"
"Elite Movers & Packing Services in Ventura is cited as a specialist for delicate items including pianos and antiques."
Perplexity · Elite
"moving company Ventura reviews"
"Elite Movers maintains a strong 4.9-star rating across 100+ reviews in the Ventura County area."
Google AIO · Elite
"long distance movers Ventura"
"Elite Movers is among Ventura-based companies offering long-distance moving services across California and beyond."
ChatGPT · GAP · not cited
"storage Ventura CA"
"Top named: Public Storage, Extra Space, CubeSmart. No moving company cited as primary storage provider. Elite absent. This is the Storage Push lane.
"

Elite ranks well on branded and specialty queries (piano, long-distance, packing). The unbranded storage queries are completely uncontested by movers. Movegreen owns "eco-friendly". Meathead owns "all-American athletes". Storage is the open lane.

Section 5 · the storage growth play

Storage is your stated growth line.
It is also where AI is silent.

You have 11 storage units active, Lake Forest expansion in motion, and "storage Ventura" search volume sitting unclaimed by every direct mover competitor. The fastest spike Elite can win in 90 days is not in moving. It is in storage. Full detail on the standalone Storage Push page.

Step 01 · Capture
Storage landing + schema + FAQ
Dedicated storage page on the new Astro site. Schema.org StorageService block. FAQ targeting "how much is storage in Ventura", "storage while moving", "long term storage Ventura". Hero on Lake Forest facility.
Step 02 · Feed
GMB storage push + 2nd GMB
Storage gets its own service category on Ventura GMB. Weekly post cadence: storage offers, Q&A, before-and-after. Santa Barbara 2nd GMB launches with storage already on the listing.
Step 03 · Amplify
LSA on storage intent
Local Services Ads tuned to "storage Ventura", "storage units near me", "moving and storage Ventura". $30/day cap, kill switch on. First 14 days = baseline, days 15-90 = scale or pivot.
Storage growth pilot · 90 day measured trial
Inside current scope. Push storage as its own growth channel for 90 days, measure storage-specific bookings. If it moves, scale. If not, pivot to packing or premium positioning as the spike lane.

MEASURED · KILL SWITCH ANY TIME
Section 6 · the full lead gen engine

Storage is one pillar. Here is the whole stack we are pointing at Elite.

Every layer below runs in parallel. No silver bullet. The compound effect is what moves the needle over 6-12 months, but the first ad data lands in your dashboard in 2 weeks.

Layer 01 · Agents
AI super-agents
24/7 answer, qualify, book. Agents that quote common move sizes, request inventories, follow up with dead leads, and hand off to a human when judgement is needed. Tuned on Elite's mix: local, long-distance, packing, storage, commercial.
Layer 02 · SEO
Local rankings + entity
Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, Thousand Oaks. Citations cleanup (NAP drift), schema rebuild, review velocity, GBP posts. Compounds slowly, cheapest channel long-term.
Layer 03 · AI ranking
ChatGPT / Perplexity / AIO
Phase 1 baseline: 55/100. Three highest-leverage fixes (Service + Review + FAQ schema, eco-counter, storage-first messaging) should move you to 70+/100 in 90 days. Phase 2 starts next week.
Layer 04 · Google Ads
LSA + search + Performance Max
Local Services Ads for storage intent (Storage Push) and "call now" moving queries. Search tuned to long-distance + packing. Performance Max for wider awareness. Agents route the leads.
Layer 05 · Facebook Ads
Awareness + retargeting
Retargeting site visitors who did not convert. Coastal-affluent awareness in Summerland, Montecito, Santa Barbara as 2nd GMB activates. Before-and-after move reels for social proof.
Layer 06 · Reports
Automated weekly
Weekly email Monday 7am. Calls, quote requests, ad spend, SEO movement, AI citations, storage-specific enquiries. No silence, everything on one page.
Live ad test · starting Monday 5 May
Paid tests running on Bobcat and a couple of other clients starting Monday. Real numbers by 8 May. We review them together on a 15-min call and decide when Elite turns paid channels on, with you fronting the spend.

Section 7 · what unlocks in phase 2

Right now the portal is a preview.
Phase 2 makes it your live operating view.

The portal you are looking at right now is a demo. Same Elite-branded frame, but wired up to real data. One view, updated nightly.

Today (demo)

  • Elite-branded portal shell
  • Static sync indicator
  • Placeholder dashboards behind each section
  • No login (preview URL)

The blocker is Google access. To wire GSC + GA + GBP to one login, we need webaccess@onlineoptimisers.net added as Manager on Elite's Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and both Google Business Profiles (Ventura + Santa Barbara). 5-minute click. Ask #1 below.

Section 8 · the three asks

Three decisions. Today.

Everything we have covered unlocks from these three yeses. None of them are big.

1
Grant GSC + GA + GBP access
Add webaccess@onlineoptimisers.net as Manager on Elite's Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and both Google Business Profiles. 5 minutes. Unlocks the live portal.
2
Confirm branding direction
"Elite Movers & Packing Services" or "Elite Movers & Storage". Whichever you choose gets locked into the new site, schema, GMB updates, and AI citation work all at once. Picking one ends the citation drift.
3
Yes / no on Storage Push pilot
90-day measured pilot: storage landing + GMB push + LSA on storage intent. Push storage hard. Inside current scope. If it moves, scale. If not, pivot to packing or premium positioning.
Section 9 · have a think before the call

15 questions for you to roll around.

No need to type answers, no form to fill. Just let these sit before we get on. We will cover them live, in order, for whichever ones matter most to you.

Growth vision
  1. If AI ranking delivered 10 extra higher-end quote requests a week in 90 days, what is that worth to Elite? Which service line should those leads land in: long-distance, packing, storage, residential, commercial?
  2. Storage is the stated growth line. How much of Elite's 11-unit capacity is currently filled, and how much could it be if storage demand doubled?
  3. Are there jobs you actively want fewer of? (Tiny apartment moves, last-minute college moves, anything that eats crew hours for low margin)
Branding and positioning
  1. "Elite Movers & Packing Services" or "Elite Movers & Storage". Which is the direction? Whichever you pick gets locked into the new site, schema, GMB, and AI citation work.
  2. Movegreen owns "eco-friendly". Meathead owns "all-American athletes". What is Elite's claim if storage is the lane? Premium handling? Family-owned? Trained crew? Your call.
AI agents
  1. What takes up the most of customer-service time week-to-week that an agent could take off the plate?
  2. Would you trust an AI agent to give a binding range quote from the first phone call, or human-confirm every quote?
  3. Should the agent sound like Elite itself, or like "Rudy's assistant at Elite"? Different trust dynamic with each.
Lead nurture and city strategy
  1. When a quote request comes in via the website, what happens in the first 5 minutes? First hour? First day?
  2. Of your six primary cities (Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, Thousand Oaks) which produces the best jobs right now? Which two should we lean into hardest on the new location pages?
  3. Santa Barbara 2nd GMB: where exactly are we on the build? Verification done? Address confirmed? Any blocker we should clear before launch?
  4. The Lake Forest storage expansion: when does it actually go live, and what is the capacity addition?
Data and budget
  1. GHL is your CRM. Is it the real source of truth, or is there also a sheet, a whiteboard, or "Rudy's head" in the loop? Who owns data hygiene day-to-day?
  2. If the Storage Push pilot produces 3-5 extra storage bookings in 60 days: do you want to expand to apartment-complex partnerships in Summerland and Montecito, or double down with paid amplification on storage intent? Different muscle either way.
  3. If we lit up the agent stack with paid Google + Facebook spend tomorrow, what is the budget you are comfortable testing with for 30 days? (We bring the data on 8 May from other-client tests so this is informed, not a guess.)

Nothing here is a gotcha. If the answer to half of them is "I don't know yet" that is a useful answer too, just tells me where to help first.
